University Council tackles Academic, Institutional Matters

 
 
Officials and faculty members from all Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) campuses gathered at the NISU Estancia Main Campus Mini-Theater for the Academic Council Meeting on October 6, 2026, presided over by University President Dr. Raffy Chavez.
 
The session focused on advancing the university’s vision through the discussion and approval of various programs, policies, and institutional plans, including faculty development, international internship opportunities, inclusive education, blended learning, and other academic and institutional matters.
 
 
The University Code Books 1–3 were also discussed during the meeting, alongside the NISU Strategic Action Unit and the NISU TESDA Partnership Framework. The council also tackled the adoption of the NISU Adaptive Outcomes-Based Course Syllabus as the university-wide course syllabus, among other topics concerning the university’s academic and institutional development.
