History-makers, indeed, reaffirming NISU’s legacy as a pioneering fisheries institution in Western Visayas.

 

In accordance with Board of Regents (BOR) Resolution No. 95, s. 2023, three graduates of Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) Estancia Main Campus who secured spots in the top 10 of the October 2026 Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination (FPLE) received cash incentives from the university under the leadership of University President Dr. Raffy B. Chavez on October 12.

 

Gerson Celeste Berano, who topped the examination with a rating of 90.25%, received ₱100,000. Meanwhile, Regie V. Pancho, who placed seventh with 88.00%, and Aleanna Marie G. Pancho, who ranked ninth with 87.50%, each received ₱25,000.

 

 

In his message, Dr. Chavez emphasized that the university’s commitment extends beyond recognizing academic excellence, underscoring the administration’s dedication to providing students with the opportunities, resources, and support they need to achieve their goals and excel in their chosen fields.
