Cheng Shui University and Intact Base Taiwan-Philippines held a lecture visit at Northern Iloilo State University (NISU)- Main Campus Mini Theater to foster a strong sense of partnership between the two mentioned universities on August 8, 2024.

 

Students coming from the different colleges, faculty, and staff participated in an interactive lecture session, tackling the various opportunities and skills that students from two universities may acquire.

 

"Today is not just about the event itself, but about the opportunity it presents for our younger generations, for our young ones. And these are the students of both institutions," said Atty. Zarian Lyn A. Gasapo during her message in the opening remarks.

 

During the lecture proper of Krysti Lim, representative from the Office of International Affairs of Chen Shiu University and Program Director of Intact Base Taiwan- Philippines, students were presented with a wide range of opportunities that come with scholarships and possible job employment.

 

 

Furthermore, Dr. Ma. Antoinette D. Aquino, DPA, Chief Administrative Officer, stressed in her closing remarks that this partnership may offer enrolment for international studies and the exchange of professionals.

 

"This is the start of our collaboration on nurturing the talents of students and graduates. And even the exchange of professionals to continue their future studies through enrolment in the international industrial talents education special program offered by Taiwan University," said Dr. Aquino.
