NISU students leaders, editors gather at FOI Youth Ambassador Visayas Camp'24
Student leaders and editors from Northern Iloilo State University system participated in the Freedom of Information Youth Ambassador Visayas Camp 2024, held at the Grand Xing Hotel, Iloilo City, from August 27-29.
Supreme Student Council President Hayl Jezreel Bandojo and Vice President Sarah Mae Vasquez were NISU Main representatives.
Participants were immersed in various sessions about the Freedom of Information Program, including its conceptual, legal, practical aspects, communication and youth mobilization.
Alongside with student representatives, advisers of student publications and organizations were also present during the activity.
Through the initiative of the FOI-Program Management Office under the Presidential Communications Office, the event aimed to develop a committed partnership with State Universities and Colleges (SUC) and build a strong stakeholder relationship with the students.
