CICS Falcons soar to back-to-back triumph in NISU Intramurals 2025

Northern Iloilo State University (NISU)–Main Campus officially concluded its Intramural Sports Meet and Conference 2025 held from October 27–30, carrying the theme “Triumph over Adversity: A Powerful Journey of Perseverance, Teamwork, and Resilience in Sports.”
After days filled with firm spirit, fierce determination, and thunderous cheers, the College of Information and Computing Studies (CICS) Falcons once again took flight toward victory, defending their title as Overall Champion, marking a back-to-back triumph in the university intramurals.
Furthermore, the College of Management (COM) Cheetahs sprinted through the competition with unyielding speed and synergy, securing the First Runner-Up position with an impressive 136 points.
Meanwhile, the College of Engineering (COENG) Wolves unleashed their might with relentless teamwork and endurance, claiming Second Runner-Up with 126 points after a series of grueling battles.

Moreover, other colleges also left lasting footprints in this year’s competitive jungle, the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Tigers roared into fourth place with 103 points, the College of Education (COE) Lions followed with 99, and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Phoenix rose valiantly to sixth with 96.
Additionally, the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) Flamingos and the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) Orcas gracefully wrapped up their campaigns with 71 and 46 points, respectively, each adding color and energy to the week-long spectacle of sportsmanship.
From soaring Falcons to roaring Tigers, from swift Cheetahs to fierce Wolves, every team brought life to the campus jungle, a living proof to perseverance, unity, and the undying NISU spirit.
