NISU, TSU Forge Stronger Ties Through MOU on Academic and Cultural Interchange

ππ’π³ππ’π€ ππͺπ΅πΊ β In a significant move toward advancing academic excellence and international collaboration, ππ¨π«ππ‘ππ«π§ ππ₯π¨π’π₯π¨ πππππ ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² (ππππ) ππ§π πππ«π₯ππ πππππ ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² (πππ) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 23-24, 2025. The MOU centers on academic and cultural interchange across various fields of education, research, and institutional development.

Representing ππππ ππ«ππ¬π’πππ§π, ππ«. ππ¨πππ² π. πππ«ππ«ππ¨, were Dr. Raffy B. Chavez, Campus Administrator of NISU Victorino Salcedo Sara Campus, and Dr. Ronnie A. Ausa, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education. TSU was led by its ππ§π’π―ππ«π¬π’ππ² ππ«ππ¬π’πππ§π, ππ«. ππ«π§π¨π₯π π. πππ₯ππ¬ππ¨, together with key university officials who welcomed the delegation and shared their best practices in criminology instruction, curriculum design, faculty development, and student support services.

The two institutions have agreed to pursue collaborative initiatives, including faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, credit-transfer arrangements, and cultural immersion programs. Notably, the benchmarking visit highlighted TSUβs exemplary strategies in research productivity and instructional innovation.

Both universities are committed to activities such as collaborative education programs, English language proficiency initiatives, and the sharing of laboratory and research facilities. The MOU also encompasses student internships, joint academic events, and the exchange of scientific and instructional materials.
