NISU joins tree growing for a cause, a collaboration of DENR, CSC RO VI
Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) recently joined in the conduct of “Tree Growing for a Cause” by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office VI held at the Sunset Boulevard, Iloilo City, on September 20, 2024.
This initiative is in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) and Linggo ng Malasakit.
NISU, in response to this activity, sent 10 employees every campus in support of DENR and CSC RO VI advocacy in environmental sustainability and community service.
In the spirit of stewardship and harmonious collaboration, the activity is anchored on the theme “Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Bayani,” which highlighted the collective participation of various government workers and private individuals.
This effort is also aligned to NISU’s commitment to community engagement, which emphasizes the crucial role of fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation.
